It wasn't as if she was going to steal anything. She had more restraint than anyone gave her credit for. Sure there was mayhem all around her at the moment at the Yule Ball, and it would've been so easy for her to retrieve something for her own pleasure. Selina was staring at a few pieces of jewelry that had fallen out of the case. Her purse felt heavier than before and it prompted her to open it. The jewelry she was just looking at was now in her clutch. It made her lower her brows into a frown. She didn't understand how it got in there. She closed her clutch back and was just about to get out of harm's way when she felt something push against her stomach. She stumbled back against the wall, caught. She's always leering in the shadows. No one was looking her way, and if they would they wouldn't be able to make out anything. It was too dark.

He held her there with his umbrella keeping her in place. He was familiar to her, but not in this shell. She kept her eyes fixated on him. She studied his new face. She preferred him in his original body, this one was deadly because with his new face came all of the power in the world without anyone taking a second guess to realize an actual villain is in control, and there she was his little secretary who would do anything for him. She had her own role to play which was why she stayed in his trap instead of breaking his arm to get away.

"You're fucking with the wrong one if you think I won't break your face right here." If her look could kill a man he'd be on the floor. Trick umbrella or not, she wasn't without her own aces in her sleeve. He just laughed in her face. He laughed because he knew he was the one controlling the show and she couldn't do anything but enjoy where he was going with this. There was no one for her to call. There was nowhere she could get out of it.

Play nice pussycat.

And then before she knew anything, everything went dark. What happened? What's going on? When she woke up she was in an unfamiliar bed. No, it wasn't Savannah's. She was still here. What was this room? It looked like she was in a normal bedroom. She glanced down at her clothes and she was still in her gown. How long was she sleeping? She doesn't remember. She pushed herself off of the bed and walked over to the door. She tried to unlock it, and nothing. She yanked again on the door's knob. It didn't take her long to figure out where she was, "Penguin! I'll break this door down!," she screamed. She wasn't afraid, she was just annoyed that this was how she had to spend her time this week.

Frustrated, she let out a scream and jumped from one side of the room to the other in one leap and perched herself on a chair as she waited for him to open the door. She was already looking for things she could use as a weapon in the room. She isn't a killer, but she wasn't going to let him get away with keeping her a hostage for his plans. She didn't want any part of it. She heard the click of the lock and she kept her eyes on the door. As soon as she saw his face she knew she was going to claw his eyes out, senator or not. They weren't friends.

We're working from home this week secretary," she heard his voice instruct on the other side of the door. "I'm bringing you a nice dress. We have lots of work to do..."

As soon as he opened the door and she saw his face she pounced, knocking him down...
